mobilisations chiropratiques

Chiropractic manipulations and mobilizations

Spinal or joint manipulation (also called adjustment) is used to restore mobility to the spine and peripheral joints. When handling, a small noise (cavitation) may be heard. This is a noise resulting from the release of a gas encapsulated in the joint and which is released during manipulation. Manipulation with cavitation is never done without the patient’s consent.

Mobilizations (manipulations without cavitation and therefore without crunching) are also used depending on the patient’s condition or preference. Depending on your health history, spinal manipulation may be contraindicated. In this case, only light mobilizations will be used.
